Controllers and accessories
A panel produces a voltage that must not go straight to the battery. The MPPT controller sits between them and decides how much current, at what voltage, reaches the battery.
The controller is not an add-on
The CHF149CC is required with a VSS System 2.0 panel. Without it the set should not be connected — this is not about the warranty, it is about the battery and the vehicle's wiring.

MPPT, not PWM
Maximum power point tracking pulls more out of the panel than a simple regulator, particularly under partial shade.
Bluetooth on the CHF149CC
Live readout and settings on the phone, with no display to route to the dashboard.
Matched to the system
CHF149CC for VSS System 2.0, CHF100CC for 1.0. They are not interchangeable.
The manufacturer states IP67 for the CHF100CC. For the CHF149CC it states no rating at all — so neither do we.
Controllers, outlets and cables
Prices incl. VAT from the Szekla4x4.pl shop. An item marked required is part of a complete set, not an extra.
CHF149CC required
MPPT charge controller, 15 A, Bluetooth
For VSS System 2.0 panels. Live readout on the phone over Bluetooth.
CHF100CC
MPPT charge controller, 10 A, IP67
For the older VSS System 1.0. Not interchangeable with the CHF149CC.
CHF300
12 V outlet kit
USB-C 65 W, USB-A and a cigarette-lighter socket fed from the panel circuit.
CHF301
Extension cable 1 m, SAE 12 AWG
For VSS System 2.0 when the cable run is longer than standard.
CHF302
Extension cable 3 m, SAE 12 AWG
The longer version — for conversions and vans.
Frequently asked questions
I already own another brand's MPPT controller. Do I have to buy the CHF149CC?
We will not answer that in general, because it depends on your controller's input voltage range and how the panel is wired. Tell us the model — we will check it against the panel's datasheet and say plainly whether it will do.
The manufacturer specifies the CHF149CC as part of the VSS System 2.0 set, and that is how we describe it.
Do System 1.0 cables fit System 2.0?
No. They are two different systems on the accessory side as well. The CHF301 and CHF302 extension cables are for VSS System 2.0.
What is the CHF300 kit for?
It is a 12 V outlet kit: USB-C 65 W, USB-A and a cigarette-lighter socket, fed from the same circuit as the panel. You buy it when you want to charge equipment without starting the vehicle.
